The psoas is a deep core muscle that not only affects your posture but energetically impacts the foundation of how you move forward with ease. In this class, you will build strength through lunges and standing balances, and then enjoy a deep release through this very intelligent muscle, as you build into full Hanumanasana (Splits). Courtney will guide you to feel a sense of space and security in the foundation of your beautiful body.
This class is associated with learning about the Muladhara Chakra, the root support of your body, and how to use it to improve the quality of how you feel in the foundations of your health and wellbeing.
Grab some props: two yoga blocks are recommended. If you don’t have blocks you can use hard cushions or hard books.
