Muscle soreness is completely normal as you move in different ways this week.

Your muscle fibres are being pulled and stretched beyond your normal range of movement, and as they repair they get larger and stronger than they were before. 

You might notice a change in mobility through your joints, and even a deeper natural breath day to day. This is a great sign that you are receiving the physical benefits of a regular practice. Be mindful of your joint alignment for hip support and shoulder stability. Proper alignment helps to activate core muscles, stabilise flexible joints, and protect sensitive areas.

We recommend a combination of Yoga, Pilates, Higher Intensity classes and Meditation as you begin your Selph movement journey. There are times to be active and build strength, and there are times to rest and restore the nervous system. Start your month off right with a structural check to make sure you’re moving in the healthiest way.
