From 26th June – 24th July, you’re invited to join postnatal pilates teacher, Courtenay Perks, for five weeks of Mums and Bubs Pilates every Wednesday morning.
Mums and Bubs pilates gives you the opportunity to connect with your body post pregnancy and birth. It also allows you to connect with your baby in a mindful way, and meet other mums in the area.
Firstly, pilates is an efficient postnatal exercise to strengthen muscles weakened during pregnancy and birth. This full body mat workout uses your own bodyweight as resistance. In addition, some props are also used, including therabands and hand weights, to tone, stretch and strengthen your entire body to assist in postnatal recovery.
Most importantly though, you can interact with bub through the movement or allow them to lie next to you and interact with other babies.

This class is open to babies from 6 weeks old to just crawling and furthermore, no prior pilates experience is necessary.
Each class is one hour in duration and all equipment and mats are provided. Please arrive 15mins before to get you and bub settled.
