Restore your body with two hours of myofascial release points, active stretches, and breathwork.

On Sunday the 30th of January, you’re invited to a deep stretch session that will give your body a boost.


Join Pilates teacher Agilene and experience the profound effects of myofascial release to help remedy pain and inflammation, tension, and tightness and leave you feeling more spacious and energised from head to toe.

What to expect:

  • An introduction to connective tissue and why it is important to release fascia on a regular basis.
  • Trigger point release using massage balls (or tennis balls) in the lower and upper body.
  • Active stretches to reduce pain in the hips and lower back, shoulders, and neck.
  • Breathwork to increase circulation and open the senses.
  • Restorative exercises to reduce inflammation.

Explore how to use a range of props including therabands, yoga blocks, and massage balls to take home the techniques you learn and continue to detangle tightness in your tissues. This workshop will not only stretch your physical fascia but also open up your senses and relax your nervous system with soothing scents from the Selph essential oil supply.

What to bring:

  • a yoga mat (or borrow one of ours)
  • a large towel
  • 2x massage balls (if you have some, otherwise they can be provided at an additional cost)

Please note: this workshop is an introduction to our Mobility & Flexibility 4-week course where we dive deeper into fascial trains, joint mobility, and breathwork to enhance your physical state. 


About Agilene De Villa:

Agilene’s passion for health and fitness started at university, where she studied health science and journalism. This led her to work as a journalist for Women’s Health in Australia and the UK. As part of her role, she would try and review various fitness studios around London, and it was at a boutique reformer studio in Chelsea that Agilene first fell in love with pilates. She completed her reformer and mat training with Breathe Education in 2017, and has added prenatal and barre to her repertoire. She finds teaching pilates the perfect way to achieve work-life balance.
