Selph Pilates teacher, Fanny Kuhn, regularly practices Pilates to build her core muscles. While many of us often focus on the outward appeal of a strong physique, Fanny focuses on the long-term benefits of Pilates for the body and mind.
Fanny says, “A strong core can help prevent injuries and improve posture. Strong core muscles are the base support for your entire body. They surround and support your spine, pelvis and connect your upper and lower body.
Fanny is passionate about sharing her knowledge and places a strong emphasis on alignment and consistent practice. She recently shared a practical pilates sequence known as the series of five, which we’ve shared below.
